EGE is the second busiest airport for commercial air traffic in the State of Colorado during the winter months.
Tom worked with Congress and the FAA to gain Federal funding and the necessary approvals for:
New airport control tower
Digital radar system
Instrument landing system
International customs
$25 million runway extension
Directed a $10 million expansion of the airport terminal with revenue bonds
Forged a 50 year agreement with the Air National Guard for the Military High Altitude Pilots training center (HAATS)

The El Jebel Community Center houses the following government offices for constituents in the Roaring Fork Valley:

Eagle River Center
The 45,000 square foot Eagle River Center
is just one of the many amenities at the
Eagle County Fairgrounds. The center is used for
equestrian events, trade shows and fairs.
